Did you know the word INPIRE comes from the words IN-SPIRIT?
I am excited to say that I have just secured a contract with Inspire Foundation to write and implement a National well-being program for young people. It is my intention to inspire young people by helping them connect to the spirit within them. This does not mean teaching young people to meditate, hold crystals or chant. It means teaching them to know what they love, accept who you are and believe infinite possibilities.
This means that if we want to inspire ourselves we must understand, listen & connect to our spirit within.
This means that if we want to inspire ourselves we must understand, listen & connect to our spirit within.
Spirit is not something you can see but only something you
can feel. It is that feeling you get when you have a wave of excitement or
flooding of peace, or simply a breathe of awareness. Spirit is the essence of
who you are, your light, your truth, your wisdom and the subtle voice that you yearn
answers from - you know the times when you are faced with a decision and you look to the sky and ask the heavens for a sign of what you should do, well, that is actually you trying to ask and connect with your spirit. Unfortunately, it is this inner knowing and feeling that often gets lost in the
daily chores and dramas of our own life.
The one thing I can be absolutely certain of is that we are
not a human being having a spiritual experience but a spiritual being having a
human experience. This means we are spirit and that spirit is always with us, in us and of us. The goal is not to be perfect and flawless, but open and accepting to learning. If we want to inspire action and change in ourselves or
others, we must be open to understanding and connecting to our SPIRIT.
The bottom line is when we do what we love, we lose all sense of time, we sit
in the flow of the moment and are content giving, sharing, creating and being.
It is in these moments that we are indeed connecting to our spirit. It is in these times we feel most happy and most at peace with ourselves. By doing so we light a flame in our heart, it
is this flame that we call passion. It is passion that intrinsically drives us
forward into an action of becoming inspired.
So, what makes you inspired?
What makes your heart sing and your spirit shine?
Start being more mindful about the spirit that lives within
you and you will open a door of the most beautiful relationship you have ever
had – the one with you. There is no greater love than that of connecting with
your own spirit.
May you be inspired and your spirit shine brightly
